ON BEHALF OF THE FAMILY OF EMMA CALDWELL, EMMA’S FAMILY DUE TO MEET THE LORD ADVOCATE & TO ATTEND SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT FOR MINISTERIAL STATEMENT AT 2.30PM

Following their meeting with the First Minister on Tuesday 5^th March 2024, and the Chief Constable on Wednesday 6^th March 2024, the family Emma Caldwell are due to meet with The Lord Advocate Dorothy Bain KC on Thursday 7^th March 2024.

MEETING WITH LORD ADVOCATE – THURSDAY 7^th MARCH, 10:30am

On Thursday 7^th March 2024 the family and their lawyer Aamer Anwar will meet with the Lord Advocate at 10:30am at Crown Office, 25 Chambers Street; Edinburgh, EH1 1LA.

Margaret and the family will arrive for the meeting at about 10:15am.

There will be a press conference following the meeting with the Lord Advocate at approximately 12:15pm outside the Crown Office.

SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT FOR MINISTERIAL STATEMENT AT 2.30PM THURSDAY 7^th MARCH

The family will then travel to the Scottish Parliament for First Minister’s Questions. They will arrive at the Scottish Parliament at 1:30pm for a ministerial statement due to take place at 2:30pm.The family and their solicitor Aamer Anwar will take their seats in the public gallery.

There will be a Press Conference outside the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood at around 3.15pm or 4.30 pm on Thursday 7^th March.
