PRESS RELEASE – 21st November 2022 – SHEKU BAYOH VIGIL TO MARK HEARING 2 OF THE PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO HIS DEATH IN POLICE CUSTODY IN MAY 2015
There will be a Vigil for Sheku Bayoh at 9am on Tuesday 22nd November to mark the beginning of Hearing 2 of the Public Inquiry into his death in police custody in 2015.
The vigil will be held at 9am outside the Inquiry building, Capital House, Festival Square, Edinburgh-
The family will arrive at 9.10am to address the Vigil and will then go into the Inquiry at around 9.45am.
Please note that tonight BBC Scotland will broadcast a new Disclosure programme at 10.40pm that analyses the 5 weeks of hearings that took place in session 1.
