SCOTTISH COVID BEREAVED MEET SCOTTISH INQUIRY
The ‘Scottish Covid Bereaved’ group whom we represent at both the UK and Scottish Public inquiries are to meet with Stuart Gale KC, Senior Counsel to the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry, and some members of his team. This meeting will be held at the Hilton Carlton Highland Hotel (19 North Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1SD) on Monday the 22nd of May 2023 at 10:30am. The families will arrive around 9:30am and there will be an opportunity for interviews and a group photograph around 10:00am.
The purpose of the meeting is for members of the Scottish Covid Bereaved to meet with Stuart Gale KC at which he will give an indication of the way forward for the Scottish Covid Public Inquiry, including discussion of:
- The first set of hearings on Health and Social Care,
- Categories of witnesses,
- The listening project (Let’s Be Heard) – the Inquiry are keen for as many members of the Scottish Covid Bereaved as possible to participate, and
- A question session for members of the group to ask questions.
