Statement by Aamer Anwar, Solicitor on behalf of the Sheku Bayoh family-
The family of Sheku Bayoh are to meet with the Deputy First Minister, Kate Forbes. The meeting will be held at the Scottish Parliament at 09:15 on the 13th of June 2024. A statement will be made on behalf of the family after the meeting. Attending the meeting will Kadi Johnson, Ade Johnson, Aminata Bayoh, Adama Jalloh and Solicitors Aamer Anwar, April Meechan, Rebecca Lyle and Golnaz Ghanatpisheh. The family will arrive at Parliament at 9am. The meeting is expected to last an hour.
